Katie Womble | Associate

Before joining Durham, Pittard & Spalding, Katie practiced litigation and appellate law in an insurance-defense litigation firm in Dallas. During that time, Katie gained experience across a wide variety of practice areas including health care liability, energy, personal injury, and premises liability. Katie gained extensive drafting experience in both the State and Federal arenas and argued multiple state court motions.

Katie graduated cum laude from Baylor University School of Law in 2024. During her time at Baylor, Katie honed her research and writing abilities through her work as a research assistant and by serving as a Technical Editor and Notes and Comments Editor on the Baylor Law Review.

Before law school, Katie received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas where she double majored in Communications and Political Science and minored in Russian.

Katie is admitted to practice in Texas state court, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
