DP&S’s Aditi Deal Sharpens Advocacy Skills at Fifth Circuit Competition

Aditi teamed up with Mason Malone, a staff attorney for Texas First Court of Appeals Justice Amparo “Amy” Guerra, for the competition, which brought together young appellate lawyers from some of the region’s most prominent firms and government offices to develop their advocacy skills.

The competition was designed by the BAFFC Young Lawyers Committee to develop oral advocacy skills through realistic appellate experience, including oral arguments before judges at the John Minor Wisdom Courthouse in New Orleans.

Participation in programs like this reflects Durham, Pittard & Spalding’s commitment to developing the next generation of appellate advocates and contributing to the broader appellate community.
