Durham, Pittard & Spalding Team Welcomes Molly Samsell to Our New Mexico Office
We are excited to announce that Molly Samsell has joined the Durham, Pittard & Spalding team in our Santa Fe, New Mexico, office. Molly brings a strong foundation in complex litigation and a record of public service and scholarship that make her a valuable addition to our growing practice.
Before joining the firm, Molly served as a law clerk to the Honorable Margaret I. Strickland of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, where she gained firsthand experience in complex federal litigation and appellate matters. Her background also includes work with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico and the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General.
Molly earned her law degree summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the New Mexico Law Review and a recipient of numerous academic honors, including the ALI-CLE Scholarship & Leadership Award. She also distinguished herself as a winner of the Institute for Energy Law’s Hartrick Scholar Writing Competition.
Molly brings a unique perspective shaped by an earlier career in nonprofit leadership, communications, and the arts. She holds an MFA from Massey University in New Zealand, as well as dual undergraduate degrees in Physics & Astrophysics and Art from the University of New Mexico.
